Types of Lice

There are approximately 5,000 different species of lice. They are divided into two types of lice. Some lice are chewing or biting lice. They do not drink blood. These lice what to look for are bird feathers and cattle. The other type of lice, sucking lice, are, as the name implies, bloodsuckers. They feed on mammals.
